Science Explainer, Demonstrator, Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and produce engaging and informative science articles and videos for our digital platform.

• Develop visual aids and animations to clarify complex scientific ideas.

• Work closely with the HR Manager and other SED Hub team members to ensure content aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.

• Keep abreast of the latest scientific research and developments.

• Address inquiries from readers and viewers while actively engaging with the SED Hub community through comments and discussion forums.

• A bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline, such as biology, physics, or chemistry.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in science communication, whether in a professional or volunteer capacity.

• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the capability to simplify complex scientific concepts into accessible language.

• Proficiency in creating visual aids and animations using digital tools.

• Familiarity with content management systems and digital publishing tools.

• A passion for science and a dedication to enhancing public understanding of scientific knowledge.
