School Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Manages a caseload of students and families referred for additional assistance.

• Conducts brief evaluations to create an action plan in collaboration with students and families.

• Leads family intervention meetings for families facing crises or with complex needs.

• Acts as the primary contact for teachers and administration regarding families in distress.

• Functions as a liaison for ESSA subgroups, including McKinney-Vento and migrant students.

• Engages with families via phone or in-person follow-ups, coordinating efforts with external agencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 0-1 year of relevant professional experience.

• Required Certifications and Licenses: Oklahoma Social Worker Certificate OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

• Must be a resident of Oklahoma.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.) and web skills.

• Willingness to travel 20% of the time.

• Three (3) years of practical field experience.
