School Social Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Provide school social work services that align with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Perform assessments and execute interventions effectively.

• Establish goals and monitor student development.

• Complete necessary documentation and progress reports.

• Engage in IEP meetings and collaborate with the team.

• Communicate effectively with school personnel, families, and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Michigan license for BSW/MSW only (limited licenses are not accepted).

• MDE Certification Full Approval Letter or MDE Professional School Social Worker Certificate.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with IEPs and in school-based collaboration is preferred.

• Proficient in using technology for virtual service delivery, including online platforms and documentation systems.

• Must have a reliable internet connection and access to the necessary technology for virtual service delivery.

• Compensation: $55–$60 per hour.

• Payment for documentation, IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reporting at the same hourly rate.

• Compensation for no-shows and late cancellations.

• Completed sessions include an additional 10% to cover session documentation time.

• An additional 15 minutes will be added to your first session for each new student on your caseload for IEP review and scheduling.

• Flexible employment options available, including 1099 or W2, depending on your preference.

• Paid training at a rate of $20/hour, which includes HR onboarding, platform training, and school-specific training.
