This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Perform thorough psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive) using telehealth-compatible platforms and tools.
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments following publisher guidelines for virtual administration.
• Create clear, legally compliant psychoeducational evaluation reports within the required timelines set by the district and state.
• Engage in virtual IEP, 504, and eligibility meetings as a member of the multidisciplinary team, presenting findings and recommendations to families and educators.
• Offer individual and group counseling services to students through secure video platforms, addressing their social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
• Develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) in collaboration with classroom teachers and support staff.
• Consult with teachers, parents/guardians, and administrators on strategies to enhance student learning and well-being in the virtual setting.
• Maintain precise, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with FERPA, HIPAA, and relevant state special education regulations.
• Collaborate with the ESS team and district partners to ensure service continuity and seamless case transitions.
• Address crisis situations by adhering to established safety and incident protocols, including escalation to the incident team when necessary.
• Stay updated on best practices in school psychology, telehealth service delivery, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Master’s degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state credential/license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain credentials in the states served).
• NCSP (Nationally Certified School Psychologist) credential is preferred.
• Experience in conducting psychoeducational assessments; familiarity with virtual/telehealth assessment administration is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and state-specific special education regulations.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and professional evaluation reports.
• Comfort and proficiency with virtual platforms (video conferencing, electronic IEP systems, digital assessment tools).
• Strong organizational skills to manage a multi-district caseload and meet competing deadlines.
