School Finance Manager – Charter Schools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as an outsourced CFO for a portfolio comprising 5-8 schools.

• Provide guidance to school leaders regarding financial and operational policies.

• Generate forward-looking financial forecasts, establish budgets, and spearhead the development of finance strategies.

• Participate in finance committee or board meetings to present and elucidate finance strategies.

• Analyze, model, and address a variety of business challenges.

• Engage in client consultations to identify and resolve financial issues faced by clients.

• Offer mentorship and informal oversight to School Finance Specialists.

• Contribute to the internal research, development, and innovation of EdOps’s finance product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a School Finance Management role.

• Background in being part of a School Leadership Team or closely collaborating with one.

• Proficiency in accounting principles.

• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including the use of formulas.

• Strong skills in quantitative analysis, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

• General familiarity with technology systems.
