This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist in managing customer relations, physician interactions, patient care, and hospital business services through administrative tasks and scheduling functions.
β’ Conduct pre-registration and verify insurance eligibility electronically.
β’ Accurately determine and collect the financial responsibilities of patients.
β’ Manage complex scheduled events, including high-cost testing and related studies that come with specific instructions.
β’ Collaborate with service delivery areas to enhance patient flow and improve customer service.
β’ Initiate the complete patient experience and billing processes for hospital services.
β’ Organize complex facility-based ancillary testing across various locations and states.
β’ Arrange appointments across multiple facilities with considerable protocol differences.
β’ High School Diploma or its equivalent.
β’ Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience in scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access.
β’ For Specialist II, a minimum of five (5) years of scheduling experience in an acute care environment is required.
β’ Extensive knowledge of various scheduling systems.
β’ Proven proficiency in the appointment scheduling processes for complex diagnostic testing.
β’ National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA must be obtained within one (1) year of employment.
β’ Skilled in utilizing Patient Registration/Patient Accounting systems and related software.
