This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert in applicable clinical programs, covering procedures, scheduling Health Assessments, protocols, benefits, and services.
• Perform member outreach and handle inbound calls within departmental target timeframes.
• Oversee member communication preferences, including preferred time of day, channel, and language; utilize interpreter services when necessary.
• Partner with Member Services, Clinical Departments, and other collaborators to enhance the member experience.
• Identify members who are targeted for care gaps and campaigns, connecting them with suitable programs or services.
• Evaluate available programs, establish eligibility, and link members to appropriate providers or vendors.
• Record member interactions in real-time and ensure timely documentation in required systems and applications.
• Accurately input member demographics and information to support data quality and outcomes reporting for the organization.
• Achieve or surpass individual and team objectives and provide activity reports as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to high member satisfaction levels.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• At least 1 year of call center experience assisting members with access to care through Medicare Advantage or HMO, including handling referrals and authorizations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong ability to communicate positively, professionally, and effectively with others.
• Capability to lead, instruct, and work collaboratively with others.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and sustain constructive relationships with a diverse range of members, management, employees, and vendors.
• Skill in reading and interpreting safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Competence in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Basic arithmetic skills capable of handling two-digit numbers and performing multiplication/division by tens and hundreds.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
• Effective problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be available for full-time work and overtime during the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct-Dec) and Open Enrollment Period (Jan-Mar).
• Preferred: Experience in a clinical environment managing provider schedules.
• Preferred: Experience assisting members with navigating Medicare Advantage medical, prescription drug, and supplemental benefits.
• Preferred: Call center experience in areas such as welcome/onboarding, appointment scheduling, retention, sales, or healthcare/health-plan programs.
• Preferred: Inbound call center experience that involves escalation or resolution.
• Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, or Korean.
• No licensure required.
• Salary range of $41,600.00 - $57,600.00.
