This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +9 more states.
• Schedule procedures accurately in alignment with physician orders, achieving an accuracy rate of 98%.
• Educate patients on exam-specific preparations.
• Inform relevant departments of any changes in the schedule.
• Correctly assign insurance at the time of scheduling, maintaining an accuracy rate of 98%.
• Adhere to departmental policies, productivity targets, and customer service standards.
• Keep a call abandonment rate below 3%.
• Conduct medical necessity checks as required by payor policies and government regulations.
• Must be a high school graduate or possess an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in scheduling within the medical sector is preferred.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology is necessary.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English, both in spoken and written forms.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
