Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary owner, implementer, point of contact, and subject matter expert for Redwood RunMyJobs Scheduler.

• Oversee and uphold job schedules, workflows, and dependencies across various systems.

• Administer, patch, configure, and update the Redwood RunMyJobs platform.

• Monitor job execution, alerts, system performance, and adherence to SLAs.

• Diagnose job failures, performance challenges, system errors, and delays.

• Manage platform configurations, user roles, and security settings.

• Design, construct, and enhance automated workflows and job chains.

• Create, implement, and sustain batch schedules that align with both business and technical needs.

• Establish execution times, job priorities, and scheduling logic.

• Document troubleshooting procedures, scheduling policies, lessons learned, workflows, processes, and configurations.

• Analyze and enhance batch job performance for optimal resource utilization.

• Facilitate the integration of RMJ with enterprise applications and data sources.

• Collaborate with internal applications, infrastructure, and data teams to support integrations.

• Configure and manage platform agents and connectivity across different environments.

• Aid in file transfers, API-based integrations, and event-driven processes.

• Assist with the setup, upgrades, and maintenance of environments.

• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into automation solutions.

• Engage in requirements discussions, working sessions, and testing activities.

• Work alongside operations and project teams to ensure reliable batch processing integration with enterprise systems.

• Suggest best practices for workload automation and platform utilization.

• Contribute to initiatives focused on process improvements and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience.

• Eligible work authorization: USC, GC, H1-B, H4-EAD, L2-EAD.

• Experience in the administration and operations of Redwood RunMyJobs (RMJ) Scheduler.

• Proven ability to manage job schedules, workflows, and dependencies across systems.

• Experience in administering, patching, and configuring the Redwood RunMyJobs platform.

• Competence in monitoring job execution, alerts, system performance, and SLAs.

• Skilled in troubleshooting job failures, performance issues, and system errors.

• Experience in managing platform configurations, users, roles, and security settings.

• Proficient in designing, building, and optimizing automated workflows and job chains.

• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining batch schedules.

• Familiarity with supporting file transfers, API-based integrations, and event-driven processes.

• Experience in configuring and managing platform agents and connectivity across environments.

• Background in supporting environment setup, upgrades, and maintenance activities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with enterprise architects, Informatica Leads, MuleSoft engineers, data engineers, report developers, IT leadership, business stakeholders, and project teams.
