Scala Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced server-side applications utilizing Scala and associated technologies.

• Developing robust and scalable APIs.

• Ensuring efficient data processing and executing business logic.

• Composing thorough unit tests.

• Collaborating with distributed systems to guarantee the reliability and scalability of the software architecture.

• Engaging in design reviews and aiding system integration and testing initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of relevant experience.

• More than 2 years of practical Scala programming development experience.

• At least 2 years of Java software development experience.

• Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Proven expertise in functional programming paradigms, distributed systems, version control using Git, build tools such as Maven, and SQL databases.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.

• Eligibility to obtain T4 Public Trust clearance.

• Must have resided in the United States for a minimum of three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
