SCADA Project Manager, Project Operations – Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in customer interactions, from scheduling to fulfillment, showcasing operational excellence that leads to satisfied customers.

• Create detailed project plans outlining scope, timeline, budget, and resources. Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout all project phases and managing stakeholder expectations.

• Supervise and regulate project costs and timelines to guarantee that projects are completed within budgetary limits and on schedule according to project milestones. Prepare cost estimates, monitor expenditures, and collaborate with finance teams to report on financial status.

• Ensure all project deliverables adhere to quality standards, are error-free, and are delivered promptly in accordance with customer contract service level agreements. Oversee the development and delivery of customer outputs, addressing any issues and ensuring performance criteria are met.

• Ensure compliance of all projects with relevant regulatory guidelines, industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to uphold regulatory requirements.

• Maintain precise project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and change orders. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and challenges.

• Lead cross-functional teams comprising engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Provide guidance, delegate tasks, and promote collaboration.

• Identify potential project risks and execute mitigation strategies to reduce impact. Adjust project plans as necessary to accommodate changes and address risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, energy, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience as a project or operations manager in the solar or renewable energy sector, heavy construction, or aerospace industry.

• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects across various customer relationships simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills, adept at building customer relationships, and capable of effectively interacting within a team environment.

• Advanced or expert proficiency in MS Suite of software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Familiarity with basic project management tools and platforms, including MS Project, JIRA, and other Atlassian tools like Confluence.

• Experience working with a small team and managing remotely distributed contractors.

• Willingness to work in a hybrid (Home/Office) setup with minimal supervision.

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, primarily to US-based project sites.

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
