This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Deliver saxophone instruction to students, emphasizing technique, repertoire, music theory, and performance abilities.
• Create personalized lesson plans that cater to each student's unique objectives, skills, and learning preferences.
• Assess students' development and offer constructive feedback to facilitate their improvement.
• Prepare students for performances, auditions, and competitions as necessary.
• Motivate and inspire students to cultivate a passion for music and saxophone playing.
• Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians about lesson schedules, progress, and expectations.
• Keep abreast of new teaching techniques, music trends, and saxophone repertoire.
• Proficiency in saxophone performance and a solid understanding of music theory.
• Prior teaching experience, ideally with a diverse array of students.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to motivate and inspire students to reach their musical aspirations.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching music.
• A degree in music or equivalent professional experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in ensemble coaching or conducting is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with various musical genres (Classical, Jazz, Contemporary, etc.) is advantageous but not required.
• Knowledge of music technology and its application in teaching (Recording, Digital Notation, etc.) is a plus but not required.
