SAT - ACT Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct students on critical strategies for SAT and ACT examinations

• Utilize the SoFlo curriculum for tutoring sessions

• Create and maintain a nurturing learning atmosphere

• Organize and conduct tutoring appointments

• Document the curriculum topics covered with each student

• Engage in communication with students and follow up on any missed sessions

• Complete administrative responsibilities in a timely manner

• Commit to a minimum of 10 hours of tutoring per week

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Sophomore in college or at a higher academic level

• Attained a baseline score of 1450+ on the SAT or 33+ on the ACT

• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring at the high school or college level

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship

• Proficient in effective strategies for the SAT and ACT sections

• Capable of demonstrating and articulating strategies clearly to students with diverse skill levels

• Skilled in using video conferencing platforms, such as Zoom or Google Meets

• Highly organized, precise, and detail-oriented

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
