SAP VISTEX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the solution design for Vistex, encompassing Incentives & Paybacks (IP), Data Maintenance Pricing (DMP), and Data Maintenance Rebates (DMR).

• Design and set up chargeback, billback, rebate, and incentive programs from the initial agreement setup to accrual, settlement, and posting stages.

• Engage in business process workshops and interact with stakeholders.

• Conduct fit-gap analyses and facilitate design workshops.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications and configure Vistex solutions within SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.

• Collaborate with Transactional and Composite models.

• Understand and manage the integration between SD/Vistex and other SAP modules.

• Perform impact assessments for change requests and enhancements, validate requirements, conduct fit-gap analyses, and propose solutions.

• Plan and implement unit, integration, and user acceptance testing in collaboration with business stakeholders and power users.

• Establish Vistex design standards and review work completed by internal consultants and vendor partners.

• Collaborate with EDI and integration teams on Vistex-driven transactions (844, 845, 849, and 867).

• Lead and oversee the migration of Vistex solutions to S/4HANA, including data migration, system configuration, and integration processes.

• Manage post-migration testing for sales processes, pricing accuracy, and rebate functionality.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales and pricing workflows.

• Ensure the proper design and implementation of internal controls; work with control and audit teams to manage risks and ensure SOX compliance.

• Manage Vistex agreement structures, eligibility criteria, and deals for customer and supplier programs.

• Create custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, and smart forms tailored for Vistex data models.

• Implement custom pricing routines, user exits, BADIs, and Vistex-specific matrix/formula integrations.

• Diagnose complex issues related to accrual, claims, settlement, and pricing calculations, driving root-cause resolutions.

• Optimize slow-running transactional logs and conduct root-cause analyses.

• Coach users and process owners through workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Mentor and train teams on SAP ECC, S/4HANA Sales, and Vistex best practices.

• Prepare documentation, unit test scripts, SOPs, and training materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of practical experience in SAP SD & Vistex configuration.

• Profound knowledge of Vistex IP, DMP/DMR, deals management, chargeback/billback, accrual, and settlement processes.

• Familiarity with Vistex integration with SAP SD pricing and FI postings.

• Experience with Vistex-related EDI transactions in a distribution setting.

• Completed at least one full-cycle Vistex implementation or significant redesign in a leadership capacity.

• Proven expertise in managing complex migration projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management within the SAP sales and pricing landscape.

• Experience demonstrating business-facing skills.

• Ability to communicate directly with Finance and business stakeholders and translate their needs into design specifications.

• Capability to document decisions and convey them to non-technical audiences.

• Commitment to ongoing learning about SAP advancements, regional regulatory changes, and industry best practices related to Vistex.

• Preferred background in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical distribution.

• Experience with Vistex on ECC and S/4HANA is preferred.

• SAP or Vistex certification is a plus.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation projects is preferred.

• Preferred experience working with offshore or vendor delivery teams.

• Excellent analytical skills are preferred.
