SAP Test Manager, Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage the complete testing strategy and execution for SAP programs, encompassing System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression, and Cutover testing.

• Create and oversee detailed test plans, timelines, entry and exit criteria, environments, and resource models.

• Coordinate and supervise cross-functional testing teams, which include business users, functional consultants, technical personnel, and external vendors.

• Ensure synchronization between project plans, testing milestones, and delivery schedules while proactively managing dependencies and risks.

• Establish and uphold testing governance practices, including defect management, reporting, RAID management, and quality metrics.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Solution Leads to enhance overall project delivery, control scope, and facilitate stakeholder communication.

• Organize workshops to determine test scope, scenarios, and business acceptance criteria.

• Manage cutover readiness tasks, such as mock cutovers, data validation, and assessments for go-live readiness.

• Communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders regarding testing progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by enhancing testing standards, tools, templates, and delivery capabilities across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Test Manager for complex SAP implementations, preferably in a consulting setting.

• Proven ability in project or delivery management, balancing quality, scope, time, and stakeholder expectations effectively.

• In-depth understanding of SAP solution landscapes, including S/4HANA, integrations, and business process testing.

• Practical experience managing UAT with business stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with confidence in engaging at senior and executive levels.

• Strong organizational skills and a structured, pragmatic approach to managing risks and issues.

• Experience in Digital Core or Supply Chain solutions (e.g., Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement) is highly valued.

• Familiarity with test management tools and structured delivery methodologies.

• ISTQB certification, project management certification, or SAP-related training is highly regarded.
