This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee the administration of the Global SAP System, which includes installation, configuration, patching, upgrading, performance monitoring, availability, stability, and overall maintenance of the system.
• Plan and coordinate the change management processes necessary for supporting the Global SAP systems.
• Ensure that system provisioning and maintenance align with company objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Install software applications.
• Keep software up to date by assessing and implementing patches and updates as needed.
• Develop strategies for SAP patching and upgrades.
• Assist in managing and provide recommendations for the overall application life cycle.
• Monitor and enhance system performance.
• Guarantee system uptime and availability that fulfills business needs.
• Analyze systems and processes to discover potential efficiencies.
• Generate documentation for aspects such as user management, performance, and system monitoring.
• Create flowcharts, document installations, and record company-specific operations.
• Implement proactive monitoring of systems.
• Ensure that backup and restoration procedures are established and tested regularly.
• Investigate and assess new hardware and software options.
• Engage in ongoing self-study concerning job-related topics.
• Conduct and/or participate in both formal and informal computer training sessions.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• Five years of experience in SAP Systems Administration, Technology Platform Analysis, Systems Engineering, or a combination of these areas.
• Three years of experience with SAP system configuration and administration.
• Three years of experience in creating system documentation.
• Three years of experience in applying software patches.
• Three years of experience in optimizing system performance.
• Two years of experience in establishing system monitoring.
