SAP Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• The SAP Solution Architect is tasked with the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive SAP solutions that cater to the operational, logistical, and financial needs of Defense programs.

• Create scalable, secure, and compliant SAP solutions that adhere to the enterprise architecture standards set by DoD agencies.

• Spearhead the creation of SAP architecture roadmaps that align with DoD business objectives.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, business analysts, and system integrators to collect requirements and outline SAP system specifications.

• Oversee the configuration and customization of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, HR, WM, FM).

• Ensure that all SAP solutions are in compliance with DoD cybersecurity and information assurance standards (e.g., RMF, STIGs).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (a Master’s degree is preferred).

• A minimum of 8 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in a Solution Architect capacity.

• Proven experience in supporting Defense SAP implementations.

• Profound knowledge of SAP architecture and modules pertinent to defense operations.

• Strong understanding of Defense business processes, procurement systems, and compliance requirements.

• Awareness of Defense cybersecurity frameworks and system accreditation procedures.
