Full Stack Engineer – Rural Health Program Workflow & Platform Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create customizable workflows with stage progression, task assignments based on roles, status monitoring, and automated notifications in line with program operations.

• Design and implement automation and AI-driven features to enhance efficiency and structure unstructured data, while ensuring appropriate human oversight.

• Establish reporting and dashboard functionalities that offer clear insights into participation, progress, and results for both internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Develop data inputs and integrations, which include structured forms, document management, and links to authorized external data sources.

• Convert business needs into technical solutions, communicate feasibility and timelines, provide support for demonstrations and training, and promote continuous improvement through user feedback.

• Up to 25% travel may be necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full stack software development.

• Significant experience with modern full-stack web development, including a current JavaScript/TypeScript front-end framework and a server-side runtime.

• Experience in designing and constructing applications supported by relational databases.

• Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs and external services into applications.

• Practical experience in incorporating large language model (LLM) functionalities into applications, such as structured data extraction, summarization, or evaluation against specified criteria.

• Experience in developing multi-step, stateful processes with dependable execution, including human-in-the-loop components and audit trails.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including program staff and state agency stakeholders.

• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver effective software solutions while requirements are still evolving.
