SAP SD, Sales & Distribution Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Set up SAP SD components such as Sales Order processing, Quotations, Contracts, Outbound Deliveries, and Billing/Invoicing workflows.

• Develop pricing structures utilizing SAP Condition Technique, which includes pricing procedures, condition records, access sequences, and promotional discount tables.

• Establish enterprise organizational frameworks, incorporating Sales Organizations, Distribution Channels, Divisions, Sales Offices, and Shipping Points.

• Enhance logistics execution parameters, including ATP checks, transfer of requirements, route determination, and picking/packing regulations.

• Execute credit management systems, which encompass credit check limits, block workflows, and release protocols.

• Partner with ABAP and integration teams to create functional specifications (RICEFW) for billing output formats, user exits, and external EDI/API messaging.

• Connect SAP SD with SAP MM, PP, and FICO.

• Design, set up, and refine enterprise Order-to-Cash lifecycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of practical SAP functional configuration experience.

• At least 4 years focused on deploying and maintaining the SAP SD ecosystem.

• Required SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution certification.

• Strong technical expertise in SAP ECC or S/4HANA configuration frameworks.

• Understanding of O2C document types, copy controls, and item category determination rules.

• Extensive knowledge of international trade compliance.

• Familiarity with tax determination engine processes.

• Knowledge of multi-currency billing processes.

• Previous S/4HANA implementation experience, particularly using Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) or Business Partner (BP) conversion architectures (preferred).

• Experience integrating SAP SD with external digital e-commerce platforms or third-party CRM systems (preferred).
