SAP S/4HANA Cloud Sourcing & Procurement Consultant, MM

📋 Description

• This position is fully remote.

• KATBOTZ LLC is in search of a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Cloud Sourcing & Procurement Consultant (MM) to aid in global procurement transformation and ERP implementation efforts.

• The consultant will collaborate closely with procurement executives, supply chain teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional SAP teams to design, configure, test, and implement SAP S/4HANA Cloud Procurement solutions that enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and deliver business value.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Configuration

• Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops and gather requirements.

• Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud Procurement processes, which include: Material Master, Business Partner (Supplier), Purchase Requisitions, Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Purchase Orders, Outline Agreements, Contracts, Source Determination, Release Strategies and Approvals, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Inventory Management, Valuation, and Account Determination.

• Set up procurement organizational structures and purchasing controls.

• Implementation & Delivery

• Engage in SAP Activate implementation projects.

• Draft functional specifications and process documentation.

• Assist with master data migration and cleansing efforts.

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Aid in cutover planning, deployment, and go-live activities.

• Integration & Collaboration

• Work closely with Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Manufacturing (PP), Warehouse Management (EWM), Sales (SD), and Project Systems (PS).

• Ensure smooth integration of Source-to-Pay and Procure-to-Pay processes.

• Support & Optimization

• Provide assistance post-go-live and during hypercare.

• Diagnose and resolve procurement and inventory management issues.

• Suggest process enhancements and automation possibilities.

• Assist with SAP quarterly cloud release evaluations and testing.

• Promote the adoption of SAP procurement best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of consulting experience in SAP MM/Procurement.

• At least 2 completed SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation projects.

• Extensive expertise in: Material Master, Purchasing, Procurement Operations, Purchase Orders, Contracts & Outline Agreements, Supplier Management, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification.

• Familiarity with the SAP Activate methodology.

• Experience in conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops.

• Strong comprehension of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
