SAP S/4 Principal Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• As an ABAP Developer, you will implement customer-specific requirements within projects as well as in support tasks.

• Development of applications will be carried out in both the front end and/or back end.

• You will engage in both independent and collaborative work on customer solutions, whether on-site or remotely.

• There will be close collaboration with an international team of developers.

• Your responsibilities will include the implementation, enhancement, migration, and documentation of ABAP applications and forms, especially utilizing Adobe Forms and Smart Forms.

• You will provide end-to-end support for S/4HANA projects throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle, including conception, implementation, testing, support, and post-go-live activities.

• Participation in various S/4HANA projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and rollouts, is expected.

• You will be responsible for 2nd and 3rd level support within development services for existing customers.

• Provision of technical consulting on development-related SAP topics will also be part of your role.

⛳️ Requirements

• A proven track record in designing and implementing solutions using ABAP, ABAP OO, and ABAP Cloud is essential.

• A strong background in S/4HANA projects as well as ABAP on HANA is required.

• Hands-on experience in API development is important.

• Initial exposure to RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) is advantageous.

• Extensive experience in form development, particularly with Adobe Forms and Smart Forms, is necessary.

• Familiarity with S/4 Output Management and BRF+ is expected.

• Proficiency in German (C1 or higher) and English (B2 or higher) is required.
