SAP S/4 HANA SD Application Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver SAP SD application support, ongoing enhancement, and rollout execution services to business units throughout the Americas region.

• Act as the primary SAP SD Regional Consultant.

• Serve as the main point of contact for SAP SD production support, incident resolution, service requests, and operational stabilization.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and evaluate alignment with approved global template capabilities.

• Configure and support SAP SD processes, including customer and sales master data, quotations, sales orders, sales contracts, pricing, ATP, delivery processing, billing, returns management, and credit management.

• Suggest standard SAP solutions while minimizing custom developments and regional deviations.

• Partner with technical teams to design, test, and implement WRICEF objects, such as reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, conversions, and forms.

• Create and maintain functional specifications and assist with technical design reviews.

• Aid in data migration activities for customer master data, pricing conditions, open sales orders, and associated transactional data.

• Coordinate and execute SIT, UAT, training, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.

• Work in conjunction with MM, FI, PP, EWM, BRIM, and other functional teams on comprehensive business processes.

• Conduct root cause analysis and minimize recurring incidents through process enhancements, knowledge sharing, and proactive support.

• Investigate and resolve production incidents and service requests within established service levels.

• Propel continuous improvement initiatives and enhance business processes and user experience.

• Collaborate with the Global SAP CoE on enhancement requests, process standardization, and governance compliance.

• Engage in design reviews, deployment activities, governance forums, and change control processes.

• Operate within the Global SAP CoE governance framework and support the adoption of approved global standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in SAP SD consulting, support, and solution delivery.

• At least one full lifecycle SAP implementation or S/4HANA rollout project in SAP SD.

• Strong practical experience in SAP SD configuration, including quotations, sales contracts, sales order management, pricing, ATP, delivery processing, billing, returns, and credit management.

• Experience in supporting regional or global SAP rollout programs.

• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash processes and integration points with MM, FI, PP, EWM, and other SAP modules.

• Experience in drafting functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows.

• Competence in testing, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Background in supporting production environments, incident management, and change request delivery.

• Experience working within a globally governed SAP environment that utilizes standardized templates and processes.

• Proven ability to balance production support, ongoing improvement, and rollout activities.

• Established experience in promoting the adoption of standardized business processes across regional units.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori applications.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Working hours primarily aligned with the US Central Time Zone (CST), with flexibility to accommodate APAC and European business needs.

• SAP S/4HANA Certification in SAP SD is a plus.

• Experience with S/4HANA migrations, rollouts, or transformation programs is advantageous.

• Exposure to Advanced ATP (aATP), Intercompany Sales, Third-Party Processing, and Consignment processes is beneficial.

• Experience with EDI, customer integrations, or external order management systems is desirable.

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, Embedded Analytics, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is preferable.

• Basic ABAP debugging skills and familiarity with enhancement frameworks is a plus.

• Experience working with distributed global teams and offshore development teams is advantageous.
