SAP Price and Promotion Planning Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist retail clients in creating, refining, and managing their pricing strategies and promotional initiatives

• Evaluate retail market trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Convert business needs into configuration and implementation plans

• Spot opportunities for process enhancements and implement industry best practices

• Aid clients during intricate retail transformation efforts

• Configure, test, and launch pricing and promotional functionalities utilizing SAP S/4HANA, SAP Merchandising, and SAP Retail

• Partner with clients to establish price and promotion planning methodologies

• Set up and enhance SAP Merchandising and SAP Retail modules

• Assess pricing and promotional workflows to uncover deficiencies and suggest enhancements

• Offer expert insights on SAP S/4HANA pricing, promotions, and retail execution capabilities

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to integrate pricing and promotional systems

• Provide training and troubleshooting support for end users while improving pricing and promotion functionalities

• Engage in blueprinting, configuration, SIT/UAT testing, and deployment processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of functional SAP experience

• Practical experience with S/4HANA retail pricing and promotions; PMR, OPP, and Condition Contract Pricing is highly desirable

• Robust understanding of price calculations, margin logic, and promotional price strategies

• Familiarity with condition techniques and POS outbound pricing

• Expertise in SAP functional configuration and customization

• Background in business-process design, Fit-to-Standard workshops, and drafting requirements/functional specifications

• Strong experience supporting SIT/UAT testing cycles

• Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship allowed)

• Capability to obtain a client Public Trust government clearance

• Adherence to all US citizenship requirements throughout engagements

• US work authorization without any current or future visa sponsorship needs
