SAP Plan to Stock – Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of S/4HANA Plan-to-Stock business processes.

• Convert federal supply chain and inventory requirements into functional S/4HANA configurations.

• Facilitate the integration of Production Planning, Integrated Business Planning, and Inventory Management.

• Evaluate demand planning, stock movements, and material valuations for alignment with the General Ledger and federal accountability standards.

• Transform supply chain requirements into S/4HANA P2S processes and document functional specifications for MRP and demand forecasting.

• Set up plants, storage locations, MRP controllers, and views of material master data.

• Configure Inventory Management systems, which include movement types, physical inventory processes, and stock transfer orders.

• Assist in the integration between Inventory Management and Finance for material valuation and Universal Journal synchronization.

• Provide functional guidance to ABAP Developers, BASIS, and Middleware teams.

• Develop and execute Unit, SIT, and UAT test scripts while documenting the outcomes.

• Identify P2S integration points with P2P and B2R workstreams.

• Aid in deployment, cleansing of material master data, migration of legacy stock balances, and post-go-live hypercare support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) or Materials Management (MM), with a focus on Inventory Management.

• Proficiency in SAP configuration for MRP, Stock Transfers, and Material Valuation.

• Must be a US Citizen without dual citizenship.

• Eligibility for a government Secret Clearance.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Understanding of federal-specific inventory requirements, including government-furnished property tracking and federal asset accountability regulations.

• Capability to perform Fit-to-Standard analysis and convert legacy inventory spreadsheets into functional S/4HANA specifications.

• Knowledge of federal audit standards related to inventory accuracy and internal control frameworks in supply chain management.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
