SAP MDG Technical Consultant – Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions for the Business Partner domain, which includes Customer and Supplier master data.

• Convert functional requirements into technical MDG solutions that encompass data models, workflows, validations, derivations, user interfaces, and replication.

• Create and maintain BRF+ rules, MDG workflows, UI configurations, and replication frameworks.

• Design and facilitate integration between SAP MDG BP and SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA, including CVI when relevant.

• Provide support for SAP MDG migration, upgrade, and transformation initiatives.

• Conceptualize and implement data migration, mass upload, validation, reconciliation, and error-handling procedures.

• Assist in integration and replication via MDG/DRF and associated SAP/non-SAP systems.

• Diagnose technical issues and assist in defect resolution during testing and deployment phases.

• Work collaboratively with functional consultants, SAP architects, business stakeholders, integration teams, and developers.

• Aid in testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, cutover, and go-live processes.

• Ensure that technical solutions adhere to SAP Clean Core principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in SAP.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of practical SAP MDG technical experience.

• Profound technical knowledge of SAP MDG Business Partner.

• Strong comprehension of Customer, Supplier, and Business Partner data structures.

• Practical experience with MDG data models, workflows, BRF+, validations, derivations, UI configuration, and replication.

• Extensive experience with CVI and Customer/Vendor integration.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.

• Experience in MDG migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.

• Skilled in data migration, mass upload, validation, reconciliation, and error-handling frameworks.

• Strong troubleshooting and integration capabilities.

• Proficiency in English.

• SAP Master Data Governance Certification is preferred.

• Experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA, including co-deployed and hub deployment models is preferred.

• Experience with MDG Consolidation and Mass Processing is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori is preferred.

• Understanding of SAP Clean Core architecture is preferred.

• Experience with large-scale global S/4HANA transformation projects is preferred.
