SAP Logistics and Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Expertise in SAP Logistics Execution, Quality Management, Production Planning, and execution modules.

• Experience in cross-functional integration involving Sales Distribution, Finance, and additional functions.

• Preferred experience with SAP Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, and Extended Warehouse Management functions.

• Analyzes business challenges to design and develop SAP Supply Chain solutions by creating requirements definition documentation and functional specifications, effectively capturing business needs through advanced business processes.

• Develops Business and System Process flow diagrams to document the current and future business environment, validates with the customer, and communicates with project stakeholders.

• Accountable for design validation, configuration, testing, implementation, end user training, functional/technical support, and ongoing maintenance.

• Engages in a hands-on role to configure and uphold SAP Logistics processes that support Process Manufacturing, Inbound/Outbound Logistics execution, Shop Floor Integrations, production planning/scheduling, Quality Management, and Plant Maintenance.

• Collaborates closely with project teams to ensure cohesive system solutions.

• Serves as a key member of project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle (blueprinting, realization, testing, final preparation, go-live, and support), including the operational phase.

• Provides guidance to businesses on the appropriate use of the SAP system and its data.

• Exhibits problem-solving skills that facilitate effective and timely resolution of end-user tickets for system issues, including but not limited to production outages, break/fix scenarios, enhancements, and end-user inquiries.

• Ensures proper change control for the SAP system.

• Performs other work-related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• At least 5 years in a technical IT role with SAP full lifecycle experience in developing, configuring, and implementing business applications.

• Required experience with SAP PP/QM modules and their integration with WM/EWM; SAP Plant Maintenance experience is preferred.

• A demonstrated track record of performance with increasing technical responsibility and the ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex technical concepts in business terms.

• Effectively communicates and coordinates project work and related information with cross-functional/international IT team members and leadership.

• Challenges existing processes, concepts, or requirements while identifying and assessing new techniques/technology that can provide value to the business/IT.

• Strong SAP Logistics execution capabilities in either Process or Discrete manufacturing.

• Experience with SAP Technical ABAP, Integration, and User Interface.

• Knowledge and experience with EDI/ALE connectivity and RFC-based integration across SAP modules.
