SAP IS-Auto, Proaxia VSS Functional Consultant – Techno-Functional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, optimize, and provide support for SAP IS-Auto/DBM and Proaxia VSS solutions tailored for automotive aftersales operations.

• Facilitate business process workshops, conduct fit-gap analyses, create solution blueprints, oversee implementation, enhancements, integrations, testing, and ongoing support.

• Configure and assist with service orders, workshop management, service appointments, vehicle reception, parts and inventory management, warranty and goodwill processing, recall campaigns, labor operations and pricing, vehicle health checks, as well as customer quotations and approvals.

• Evaluate dealership processes, identify opportunities for automation and optimization, convert business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, and propose enhancements to boost efficiency, customer experience, and operational performance.

• Collect and document comprehensive requirements while engaging with business stakeholders, OEM partners, project teams, developers, and integration teams.

• Ensure that solutions adhere to SAP and automotive industry best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of direct SAP Automotive experience, including expertise in SAP IS-Auto/DBM and Proaxia VSS.

• Practical experience with SAP IS-Auto DBM, Proaxia VSS, and SAP S/4HANA Automotive solutions.

• Strong integration experience involving SAP IS-Auto/DBM and Proaxia VSS with SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, FSCM, Business Partner, CRM/CX, and S/4HANA, including OEM or CRM integrations utilizing middleware like SAP CPI or PI/PO and APIs or IDocs.

• In-depth understanding of automotive aftersales workflows, which encompass workshop and service operations, parts and inventory management, warranty and recall processing, as well as vehicle reception and delivery.

• Proven hands-on experience delivering end-to-end SAP projects across a minimum of 2-3 implementations, rollouts, or upgrade projects utilizing SAP Activate, including fit-gap analysis, business process workshops, blueprinting, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

• Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.

• Experience in providing structured L2/L3 production support in accordance with SLA requirements.

• Proven track record in leading requirements-gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, and business process workshops with automotive dealership teams and aftersales process leaders.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with OEM partners, business users, ABAP developers, and integration teams to translate business requirements into SAP solutions, address cross-system challenges, and assist with testing and deployment.

• Proficiency in both English and Arabic.

• Willingness to work with full overlap of UAE/Gulf business hours and to support planned go-live, cutover, and hypercare activities outside of standard working hours as necessary.

• Availability to assist with production incidents and aftersales support within agreed SLA coverage.

• Direct experience in implementing or supporting automotive dealership aftersales operations is advantageous.

• Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
