SAP FI/CO Project Lead – SAP ECC Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee the SAP ECC FI/CO workstream for the integration of the newly acquired subsidiary.

• Lead the design and execution of parallel accounting and dual-ledger reporting to comply with IFRS and US GAAP.

• Direct SAP FI/CO functional configuration, implementation, and integration efforts.

• Manage the mapping of finance master data, plan migration, conduct mock conversions, and validate data.

• Supervise testing, reconciliation, defect resolution, and ensure the integrity of financial data.

• Coordinate planning and execution of cutover, along with post-go-live support and hypercare.

• Ensure the accuracy of financial postings, period-end processes, and reconciliations.

• Collaborate closely with DT and relevant business stakeholders to align SAP integration efforts.

• Function within controlled settings, complying with SOX requirements and change/release management protocols.

• Address complex functional challenges while maintaining project momentum under strict deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of functional experience with SAP FI/CO.

• In-depth functional knowledge of SAP ECC FI/CO.

• Proven track record in executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integrations within SAP ECC environments.

• Established experience with parallel accounting and dual-ledger solutions in multi-GAAP settings.

• Strong comprehension of finance master data, financial postings, period-end closing, and reconciliation processes.

• Practical experience in data migration, mapping, mock conversions, and reconciliation activities.

• Familiarity with testing, cutover, and hypercare processes.

• Experience in SOX-controlled environments and formal change/release management procedures.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
