SAP Enterprise Integration Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and build comprehensive end-to-end integrations utilizing SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh across ERP, MES, PLM, CRM, logistics, and EDI partners.

• Set enterprise integration standards, reusable iFlow patterns, naming conventions, transport plans, error-handling frameworks, and a governance model for CPI that is embraced organization-wide.

• Create graphical, XSLT, and Java (UDF) mappings; configure adapters for SOAP, REST, OData, BAPI, JDBC, sFTP, MQ, PGP, and EDI X12.

• Implement and maintain B2B/EDI integrations (X12 transaction sets).

• Integrate SAP S/4HANA with non-SAP systems such as Salesforce, Oracle ERP, and various cloud and on-premise applications using both pre-packaged content and custom enhancements.

• Design and implement secure data exchanges employing PGP encryption/decryption, SSL/TLS, Crypto Toolkit, Web Dispatcher, and DMZ setups, coordinating firewall and certificate management with infrastructure teams.

• Lead the integration architecture for greenfield projects and cloud modernization initiatives, defining canonical data models, service lifecycles, and reference architectures.

• Manage onshore/offshore integration teams within Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies, including sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery across multiple workstreams.

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, security, infrastructure, functional teams, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance and audit readiness across all operational interfaces.

• Perform integration, system, performance, and stress testing; offer production support, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements for the interface landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 15 years of IT experience with a significant focus on SAP integration delivery in an architect or leadership role.

• Extensive, hands-on expertise in SAP PI/PO and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).

• Strong experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, Cloud Connector, and BTP Connectivity Service.

• Proficient in graphical, XSLT, and Java (UDF) mapping practices.

• Familiarity with integration security measures: SSL/TLS, Crypto Toolkit, Web Dispatcher, DMZ setup, principal propagation, and PGP.

• Proven leadership skills in managing teams across onshore/offshore models, with solid stakeholder management and Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
