SAP Enterprise Asset Management, Plant Maintenance Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Configure and provide support for S/4HANA Asset Management, which includes technical object structures, maintenance planning, and work order processing.

• Design and implement preventive maintenance strategies for fleet, facilities, and water/wastewater equipment, encompassing maintenance plans, strategies, and task lists.

• Configure work order types, priorities, planner groups, and work centers in alignment with client operational structures.

• Implement workflows for maintenance notifications and work orders, including rules for approval and settlement.

• Design and deploy Fiori tiles and personas tailored for maintenance roles, including mobile execution where applicable.

• Develop EAM reporting to track maintenance compliance, backlog, and asset costs, and assist in migrating reporting to Power BI.

• Support the establishment and governance of master data for functional locations and equipment, including data loads via the SAP Migration Cockpit.

• Conduct preliminary testing, assist with client User Acceptance Testing, and provide documentation and knowledge transfer for every assignment.

• Collaborate directly with operational staff who lack SAP expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

• 6–10 years of experience in functional configuration for SAP Plant Maintenance / Enterprise Asset Management.

• At least one implementation or conversion of S/4HANA.

• Hands-on experience with PM/EAM configuration on a minimum of one S/4HANA project; mere exposure to the module is insufficient.

• Proficiency in configuring preventive maintenance for fleet or linear/municipal infrastructure assets.

• Understanding of PM integration with MM and FI/CO, including the implications for costing.

• Familiarity with technical objects: functional locations, equipment masters, bills of material, measuring points, and counters.

• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, including maintenance plans, strategies, task lists, scheduling, and call horizons.

• Understanding of corrective maintenance, encompassing notifications, work orders, order types, operations, confirmations, settlement, and costing.

• Familiarity with fleet management objects, consumption tracking, and maintenance triggers based on usage.

• Knowledge of PM integration with Funds Management.

• Experience with Fiori applications and personas for maintenance planners, supervisors, and technicians, including mobile execution of work orders.

• Experience in EAM reporting and analytics, focusing on backlog, compliance, and cost-per-asset metrics.

• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Asset Management or an equivalent PM/EAM certification is preferred.

• Experience in municipal, utility, or public works EAM is a significant advantage.
