This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct business and system analysis to facilitate the development of enterprise SAP applications.
• Convert business requirements and client information into comprehensive technical designs.
• Work alongside SAP Functional Consultants and client personnel to assess solution alternatives and suggest technical strategies.
• Design, alter, test, and uphold SAP ABAP programs within SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments.
• Generate and manage programming specifications, technical documentation, diagrams, and logic flowcharts.
• Produce high-quality technical solutions that adhere to development standards.
• Execute unit testing and record test outcomes.
• Assist with enhancements, modifications, and new installations of enterprise applications.
• Be prepared to travel up to 20 percent for project-related activities, on-site meetings, and stakeholder interactions as necessary.
• Adhere to development standards, coding best practices, quality assurance protocols, and SAP Clean Core methodology principles.
• At least 4 years of experience in ABAP development.
• A Bachelor’s degree or certificate in MIS, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
• SAP Certification in ABAP or FIORI is required; if not certified, certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Proficiency in RAP (RESTful Application Programming) ABAP for S/4 HANA development is essential.
• Familiarity with development tools available for S/4 HANA.
• Strong understanding of S/4 HANA architecture, SAP Clean Core methodology, and SAP extensibility concepts.
• Knowledge of recent ABAP features and concepts related to RESTful Application Programming.
• Experience in enterprise application development, including design, coding, and testing.
• Experience working with the Department of Defense or another federal agency is an advantage.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain government clearance.
