SAP ABAP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect and document business and technical requirements, outlining both current-state and target-state processes.

• Configure, develop, integrate, or manage the enterprise platform in alignment with established design standards.

• Oversee interfaces, data migration, reporting, security measures, and process interdependencies.

• Organize and conduct unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

• Assist with deployments, enhance user adoption, resolve issues, and drive continuous process improvement.

• Work collaboratively with business users, technical teams, external partners, and cross-functional groups.

• Contribute to the development of reliable and maintainable solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a related professional capacity.

• Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS views, OData, enhancements, interfaces, debugging, and S/4HANA development.

• Proven experience in implementing, developing, managing, or supporting the enterprise platform specified in the job title.

• Deep understanding of relevant business processes and the core functionalities of the platform.

• Skilled in gathering requirements, configuring or developing solutions, and documenting choices made.

• Familiarity with integrations, data flows, testing protocols, and production support.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with business users, technical teams, and external partners.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• U.S. work authorization is required: U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud services, automation, modern delivery methodologies, secure development, accessibility, governance, regulatory requirements, and relevant professional certifications or advanced training.
