Sample Collector, Phlebotomist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Attend scheduled appointments at various locations within the Newport area.

• Deliver professional services for hair, blood, and DNA sample collection.

• Foster and enhance strong relationships with clients and donors as the representative of Lextox.

• Execute the protocols outlined in the company’s Quality Management System.

• Assist in maintaining ISO17025 accreditation.

• Ensure that collections are performed in a safe, healthy, and low-risk manner.

• Provide statements of truth at the time of collection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a professionally qualified Phlebotomist.

• Recent experience in utilizing various venepuncture techniques, primarily vacutainer and butterfly.

• Capability to collect samples in non-clinical environments.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Valid UK Driving Licence required.

• Must have access to a vehicle with business insurance.

• At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in Phlebotomy.

• Evidence of Phlebotomy competency may be necessary.

• Hepatitis B vaccination is mandatory.

• An Enhanced DBS check is required.

• Experience in the NHS / Blood Service is preferred.

• Experience in collecting hair and DNA samples is a plus.
