This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Expand the Business:
• Identify key accounts within the designated territory and create an efficient route to grow and nurture existing clients while seeking new partnerships.
• Demonstrate and assist clients in developing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the outcomes of all in-salon promotions, programs, and concepts.
• Assess customers’ needs and propose products and services that fulfill those requirements.
• Communicate all sales initiatives by collaborating with vendors to meet corporate sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Acknowledge and promptly respond to all email, text, and phone communications within 24 hours.
• Analyze your accounts to determine the necessary brand support, education, and promotions to enhance growth within those salons.
• Visit your customers in person to achieve established sales targets.
• Rigorously adhere to established procedures for processing returns, including pick-up from clients and completion of necessary documentation. Complete assignments and projects timely as assigned.
• Collaborate with all business areas, including customer service, accounts receivable, IT, and any other relevant business functions.
• Actively seek new customers through cold calling, social media, and other digital channels.
• Efficiently manage all administrative responsibilities, including daily order entry and the regular upkeep of customer information and activities for the assigned territory in salesforce.com.
• Attract and maintain salon clientele by leveraging social media for communication, promotion, education, and product knowledge.
• Conduct effective in-person and virtual product knowledge sessions.
• Communicate with the Manager regarding calls, visits, orders, sales progress, follow-up strategies, and any required assistance.

• Be an expert in using digital platforms and social media to grow the business. Share your expertise with colleagues to enhance the team’s digital capabilities.
• Attend all meetings, functions, and events while maintaining regular communication as directed by the Company or Supervisor.
• Must be available to attend shows, assist in the setup and dismantling of displays and booths, handle back stock, and perform other physical tasks as necessary.
• Support all new initiatives with a growth mindset while positively encouraging change management within the team.

• Remain adaptable to market changes while building industry knowledge and intuition to respond to a competitive landscape.

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• At least one year of demonstrated outside sales experience or experience in the beauty industry with a focus on consultative selling.
• Must reside within the assigned territory.
• Strong preference for working knowledge of inventory control systems and visual merchandising.
• Excellent experience using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms to build pipelines, books of business, and fulfill other business needs.
• Proficient computer skills, with knowledge of salesforce.com, Outlook, PDF Expert, and Oracle. Experience with iPad is a plus.
• Ability to build an online community and establish social connections, including using search engines and other internet tools.
• This role requires local travel within the territory and attendance at shows, conventions, and educational events, which may involve overnight travel and/or weekends.
• Capability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safety.
• Frequent and sometimes extended periods of driving are necessary for this position.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to present a professional business image and engage positively with the public.
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, across all organizational levels.
