This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Design, develop, and configure Salesforce solutions utilizing low-code/no-code tools alongside custom code (such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components) to satisfy DHS requirements.
• Implement and tailor Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Experience Cloud to address stakeholder requirements, which include case management, citizen engagement portals, and workflows.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions, encompassing user stories, workflows, and system features.
• Develop and sustain integrations with external systems, ensuring secure data exchange and compliance with federal standards.
• Facilitate data migration from legacy systems, which involves data mapping, transformation, and validation to guarantee accuracy and integrity.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to Salesforce best practices and federal security mandates (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation for project deliverables, gate reviews, and ATO cybersecurity requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, enhancing system performance and scalability for ongoing support.
• Provide user training by offering technical insights and ensuring that system features are user-friendly and easily adoptable.
• Active Salesforce Administrator Certification or Platform App Builder Certification, along with Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g., Platform Developer I or II).
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including custom coding (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components).
• At least 1 year of experience with Salesforce’s Public Sector Solutions and its standard framework components.
• Over 3 years of experience with Salesforce development tools (such as VS Code, Salesforce CLI, Workbench) and Agile tools (like Jira, Confluence).
• The candidate must possess a Public Trust or an Active Secret clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to federal contract stipulations.
• The candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be conducted within the U.S.
• The candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.
