This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Lead the development and improvement of software products.
• Oversee the product lifecycle and work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with company objectives.
• Ensure effective release management through well-defined requirements, prioritization of the backlog, and ongoing enhancements.
• Formulate and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and customer requirements.
• Gather, document, and prioritize product requirements by collaborating with stakeholders, customers, and development teams.
• Convert business needs into actionable user stories with precise acceptance criteria.
• Manage, prioritize, and continuously refine the product backlog to reflect the most valuable and viable features and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, designers, quality assurance, and stakeholders) to ensure a shared understanding of product objectives and requirements.
• Organize and coordinate product releases by defining scope, goals, and timelines.
• Track development progress, monitor key performance indicators, and communicate product status to stakeholders.
• Work with QA teams to establish test cases and acceptance criteria to guarantee a high-quality, defect-free product.
• Promote a user-centric approach to product design and usability; collaborate with UX/UI teams to develop intuitive user interfaces.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and actively engage in retrospectives to address challenges and implement adjustments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within software development, showcasing a successful track record of delivering complex software products.
• Scrum Product Owner Certification is preferred.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies, with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Proficient with software development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and version control systems like GitHub.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align product development with business objectives.
• Familiarity with software development processes, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Leadership qualities with the capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% with occasional overnight stays.
