This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont, +4 more states.
• Act as the main resource for the execution and administration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement.
• Set up and manage Marketing Cloud components such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to develop, execute, and support email campaigns, automated journeys, and triggered communications.
• Utilize SQL for the creation and maintenance of data extensions, segmentation queries, and automation logic that supports campaign execution.
• Enhance and maintain customer journeys, decision splits, data relationships, and personalization strategies.
• Track campaign performance, subscriber engagement, and automation health, offering insights to refine targeting and personalization.
• Conduct quality assurance, testing, rendering validation, and pre-send checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee Marketing Cloud data hygiene, subscriber management, and synchronization processes.
• Assist in content and data reviews with Legal and Compliance to ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and internal data usage standards.
• Document operational procedures, standards, and Marketing Cloud runbooks.
• Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and Flow automation related to marketing processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator (Strongly Preferred).
• Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator (Strongly Preferred).
• Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist.
• 3–6 years of practical experience in supporting Marketing Cloud Engagement, along with Salesforce administration experience; experience in a regulated industry is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in SQL for complex joins, data normalization, and behavioral or transactional segmentation.
• Competent in AMPscript and HTML/CSS for dynamic content, personalization, and troubleshooting, with a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience.
• Solid understanding of CRM data models, marketing automation, consent management, and customer lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with email compliance and data governance best practices, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and execute within established governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across Marketing, Communications, Compliance, IT, and platform leadership.
