Salesforce Integration Engineer – Test Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and execute integrations between Salesforce and external systems utilizing APIs and integration technologies.

• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations, data exchanges, and automated processes.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to establish integration requirements.

• Create integration specifications, interface documentation, and technical designs.

• Oversee system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.

• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and relevant testing documentation.

• Validate data integrity and ensure comprehensive system functionality.

• Identify, troubleshoot, document, and manage defects until resolution.

• Coordinate test execution across development and business teams.

• Assist with data migration, deployment, release management, and production validation.

• Monitor integration performance and resolve issues in production environments.

• Ensure that solutions comply with established technical, functional, and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce integration, software testing, or similar technical roles.

• Strong experience with Salesforce APIs, including both REST and SOAP.

• Familiarity with integration platforms, middleware, or ETL technologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce data models and system integrations.

• Proven experience in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and system testing.

• Strong troubleshooting and defect management abilities.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Salesforce Integration Architect or related Salesforce certification is preferred.

• Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms is preferred.

• Knowledge of automated testing tools and CI/CD processes is preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools is preferred.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred.

• Experience testing complex, enterprise-level applications and integrations is preferred.

• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI is preferred.

• Experience leading testing teams or coordinating testing across multiple workstreams is preferred.

• Must be currently residing in, or willing to relocate to, one of the states supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: Alabama, Colorado, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia.
