This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Evaluate business and user requirements within a federal program framework and document comprehensive functional specifications.
• Work collaboratively with government stakeholders to establish system scope, objectives, and business processes that are in line with mission requirements.
• Perform research, fact-finding, and data analysis to aid in solution design and program goals.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and working groups with federal clients.
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications for Salesforce configuration and development teams.
• Facilitate Agile or hybrid project delivery, including backlog management, sprint planning, and user story creation.
• Ensure that solutions comply with federal standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, security, and privacy regulations).
• Contribute to the creation of end-user documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
• Provide end-user training and post-deployment support to federal users.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Salesforce functionality and business process enhancement.
• Investigate system issues and propose compliant, scalable solutions.
• Assist in the preparation of project deliverables, reports, and necessary contract documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, infrastructure, and development, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to successfully complete a federal background check.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or comparable role.
• Practical experience in supporting Salesforce implementations or enhancements.
• Familiarity with working on federal government contracts or within regulated environments.
• Strong grasp of requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation methodologies.
• Experience in supporting system testing, including UAT coordination and defect management.
• Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, or similar standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the capability to engage effectively with government stakeholders.
