Salesforce Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Guide the architecture, performance, and scalability of the Salesforce Platform and Node.js-based services.

• Ensure that architectural choices align with Salesforce and cloud engineering best practices.

• Take ownership of the technical roadmap for Salesforce applications.

• Provide mentorship to senior engineers.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.

• Lead a team of 10 to 15 developers by establishing goals, conducting one-on-ones, fostering career growth, hiring engineering talent, and eliminating obstacles.

• Balance the delivery of the roadmap with engineering excellence, encompassing code quality, system reliability, platform performance, security, and developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in leadership roles for engineering teams.

• Extensive Salesforce knowledge, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and best practices for the Salesforce platform.

• Demonstrated experience in Salesforce technical architecture, particularly in designing scalable enterprise solutions.

• Strong background in Node.js, along with a clear perspective on creating maintainable services and integrations at scale.

• Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems through modern APIs and integration strategies.

• In-depth understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and performance optimization.

• Proven history of enhancing engineering velocity, system performance, scalability, and deployment processes in live environments.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate engineers, make effective hiring decisions, and lead high-performing engineering teams that consistently achieve results.

• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.

• Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS solutions.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, or containerization technologies.

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, Application Architect, or System Architect.

• Experience in scaling SaaS platforms or products aimed at developers.
