Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement tailored Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.

• Create and manage integrations between Salesforce and external systems through REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.

• Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions in partnership with administrators and stakeholders.

• Develop and sustain automated flows, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled processes.

• Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards, ensuring that solutions are efficient, secure, and easy to maintain.

• Assist with release management, including version control, sandbox management, and deployment using tools like Salesforce DX and CI/CD pipelines.

• Engage in architectural reviews and contribute to the platform's strategy and roadmap planning.

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical issues within the Salesforce organization.

• Create comprehensive technical documentation, such as design specifications, data flow diagrams, and runbooks.

• Mentor junior developers and administrators, sharing insights and fostering best practices throughout the team.

• Collaborate closely with Salesforce Administrators, Sales Operations, business stakeholders, and other technical teams.

• Influence architectural decisions and contribute to the evolution of Salesforce across the organization.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.

• Demonstrated experience in building Salesforce integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.

• Capability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Experience in developing automated flows, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled processes.

• Familiarity with code review practices and development standards for efficient, secure, and maintainable solutions.

• Experience with version control systems, sandbox management, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Participation in architectural reviews and platform strategy or roadmap planning is essential.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging Salesforce-related technical issues.

• Ability to generate technical documentation, including design specifications, data flow diagrams, and runbooks.

• Strong mentoring skills for junior developers and administrators.

• Desirable: Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certification.

• Desirable: Experience with Marketing Cloud development, including AMPscript, SSJS, and APIs.

• Desirable: Familiarity with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
