This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily administration of Salesforce development and testing environments.
• Create web applications that align with contemporary industry standards and best practices.
• Utilize object-oriented programming to enhance code reusability and adaptability.
• Work within an Agile software development framework while adhering to the government's Waterfall-style project stage gates.
• Engage with system and business analysts on a daily basis to clarify project requirements.
• Execute design and implementation tasks under the guidance of the lead architect.
• Integrate feedback from the lead architect on completed assignments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to align business needs with legacy-system integrations.
• Contribute to technical designs, including detailed data flows and schemas.
• Develop and launch new and updated applications and code during release cycles.
• Test and troubleshoot applications for optimal performance.
• Examine system logs to resolve user issues.
• Assist the Salesforce Administrator with system maintenance tasks.
• Produce technical documentation that outlines solutions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 2–4 years of experience in Salesforce Development or Administration.
• Platform Developer I certification is required.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical IT stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a team setting under the supervision of a technical lead.
• Experience in developing Apex classes and triggers, Custom Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
• Application development experience using Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, and Lightning Web Components.
• Involvement in application releases and deployments.
• Proficient in Salesforce CLI and SFDX.
• Experience with deploying Salesforce applications using package.xml deployment files.
• Familiarity with integrated applications through web services and middle-tier applications like Mulesoft.
• Experience in setting up Salesforce Community Portals.
• Knowledge in establishing Single Sign-On integrations with Active Directories.
• Background in unit and system testing and debugging.
• Proficiency in reviewing system logs to troubleshoot user issues.
• Understanding of coding best practices and data quality standards.
• Extensive experience in maintaining and creating Salesforce Flows.
• Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology, particularly Scrum.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
