This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Engage in the entire application life cycle, covering architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-performance, reusable, and dependable Apex code.
• Design and customize Lightning Components.
• Construct data models and implement Salesforce objects, including custom objects, fields, and relationships.
• Optimize Salesforce application performance through code enhancements, modular development, lazy loading, query refinement, caching, and asynchronous workflows.
• Assist in options analyses, proof-of-concept executions, and solution validations.
• Recognize risks, manage changes, and create efficient, scalable cloud solutions.
• Collect technical requirements and convert user stories and dependencies for technical execution.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers regarding product, front-end, and back-end specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve Salesforce platform issues for users.
• Engage in Agile practices, including standups, demos, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
• Document development processes and technical architectures.
• Execute unit and integration testing.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Develop automation-first solutions utilizing Apex scripts, Robotic Process Automation, and associated tools.
• Remain up-to-date with new technology features and updates.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 4 years of relevant experience in Salesforce Development & Engineering.
• The candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Must reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the United States, and perform work within the United States.
• Must have lived in the United States for 3 full years out of the last 5 years.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, and SOQL.
• Familiarity with building REST APIs for external system integrations.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming design patterns and Salesforce data modeling best practices.
• Experience working on or with Agile and SAFe teams.
• Understanding of Security, DevSecOps, and Agile principles.
• Experience in developing Salesforce reports and dashboards.
• Experience with Salesforce call center configurations.
• An active Trailblazer account is required.
• One or more Salesforce developer certifications: Developer I, Developer II, or Platform App Builder.
• Strong analytical skills and independent problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience in multi-team development environments.
• Experience with Copado CI/CD pipeline and best practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures and AWS cloud development is a plus.
• Experience in civic technology and government contracting is a plus.
• Copado Fundamentals I certification is a plus.
• Copado Fundamentals II certification is a plus.
• Experience in Health Cloud implementation and development is a plus.
