Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, customize, and oversee the Salesforce environment.

• Design, create, tailor, and sustain Salesforce solutions utilizing Lightning Web Components, Apex, Flows, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.

• Create and uphold REST and SOAP API integrations.

• Convert stakeholder requirements into scalable, user-friendly Salesforce solutions.

• Engage in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.

• Diagnose production issues, pinpoint root causes, and implement enduring solutions.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives, and estimation.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Scrum Master.

• Assist with Salesforce administration, which includes user management, security, reports, dashboards, Flows, validation rules, and system maintenance.

• Address support requests and resolve user issues.

• Ensure data quality, platform integrity, governance, and maintain system documentation.

• Provide development and administrative assistance for Sage/ERP, Concur, and other business applications.

• Facilitate data exchanges using APIs, CSV/SFTP, or integration middleware.

• Coordinate releases, patches, production changes, UAT, and communications with end-users.

• Aid in reporting, operational analytics, reconciliation, and ad hoc data extracts.

• Manage ticket intake and prioritization, adhere to SLAs, and communicate status updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 2–3 years of practical Salesforce development experience along with exposure to Salesforce administration.

• Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOSL, and SOQL.

• Familiarity with Salesforce administration, including Flows, security, validation rules, reporting, dashboards, and user management.

• Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and web services.

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in a Scrum team environment.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and skill in troubleshooting complex technical challenges.

• Capability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange products and third-party integrations.

• Experience with data migration tools and techniques.

• Salesforce Developer and/or Administrator certifications.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in an environment with changing priorities and uncertainty.

• Curiosity, learning agility, and a willingness to embrace responsibilities beyond core development tasks.

• Interest or ability in responsibly utilizing AI-assisted development tools.

• Preferred: Experience in small or mid-sized organizations managing solutions through production support.

• Preferred: Direct partnership with business stakeholders and requirements gathering.

• Preferred: Salesforce certifications, Trailhead Badges/Super Badges, Git, CI/CD, Jira, Java, JavaScript, web development frameworks, and Salesforce Cloud products.

• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities.
