This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee projects from prioritization to concept development, user story formulation, and support for development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with government leaders to manage the scope of new project enhancement requests; clarify objectives, constraints, acceptance criteria, and release schedules.
• Partner with the Product Owner and users to identify operational objectives based on business needs and gather requirements.
• Recognize core business necessities and decompose them into operational concepts, story maps, briefings, and user stories; document business rules and create workflow diagrams as necessary.
• Convert intricate business processes into clear and actionable user stories with comprehensive acceptance criteria, including exception paths and operational reporting requirements.
• Assist with Salesforce Classic to Lightning migration tasks, such as discovery, gap analysis, Lightning experience redesign, readiness planning, and post-cutover stabilization.
• Configure and enhance Salesforce using declarative tools, focusing on Flow (record-triggered, screen flows, scheduled flows), approvals, validation rules, page layouts, and Lightning App Builder to minimize manual tasks and increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure that declarative automation is scalable, maintainable, and complies with governance, auditability, and regulatory expectations.
• Deliver both formal and informal oral and written presentations to government managers; create executive-ready summaries and decision support documents.
• Carry out additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering, along with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• A total of ten (10) years of professional experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Proven experience leading requirements in an Agile delivery framework, including story mapping, user story creation, and acceptance criteria formulation.
• Demonstrated capability to translate complex business workflows into clear requirements and actionable user stories.
• Experience in documenting business rules and processes using workflow diagrams and structured artifacts (e.g., CONOPS).
• Background in supporting or leading Salesforce Classic to Lightning migration initiatives.
• Practical experience with declarative configuration and automation, particularly Salesforce Flow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior government stakeholders effectively.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.
