Salesforce Business Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Collect and convert business needs from Sales, Field Operations, and Supply Chain into user stories and functional designs.

• Create and maintain Salesforce solutions for managing the sales lifecycle, tracking consignee stock, monitoring surgical stock consumption, reporting defects, handling returns and replacements, and managing cases.

• Work alongside mobile application teams to outline workflows for field users and design user experience journeys.

• Facilitate both offline and real-time data collection for surgical and inventory events.

• Ensure smooth integration between Salesforce and mobile applications.

• Lead discussions with Sales Operations, Field Sales, Clinical Specialists, and Operations teams.

• Oversee backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.

• Champion UAT, user training, and change management initiatives.

• Assist with reporting and analytics related to inventory utilization, field consumption trends, and defect/return tracking.

• Maintain data accuracy, governance, and compliance in a regulated environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst.

• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.

• Essential experience in the Medical Devices / Healthcare Manufacturing sector.

• Strong knowledge of consignment inventory models.

• In-depth understanding of tracking surgical/clinical product usage.

• Solid grasp of workflows related to returns, defects, and replacements.

• Comprehensive knowledge of customer case management.

• Preferred experience in developing custom mobile applications, particularly with Angular or similar frameworks.

• Expertise in gathering requirements and documentation, such as user stories and BRDs.

• Proficient in process mapping across sales and operational workflows.

• Effective stakeholder management skills across business and IT domains.

• Experience with integrating Salesforce with ERP, inventory, and external systems.

• Practical experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models.

• Preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, or Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant.

• Nice to have experience with field sales or clinical mobile applications.

• Nice to have familiarity with FDA, regulatory, or quality processes in MedTech.

• Understanding of ERP integration, including JDE, SAP, or Oracle.

• Experience with offline-first mobile architectures.
