Salesforce Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify desired business outcomes and establish success criteria.

• Communicate the value of proposed solutions and strategies to customer stakeholders.

• Facilitate Discovery and requirements refinement sessions to identify the business, functional, and technological needs of customers.

• Consolidate requirements to produce clear and detailed user stories and solution design documentation.

• Conduct a fit-gap analysis to compare Salesforce capabilities against client requirements.

• Create innovative Salesforce solutions through declarative configuration, complex data model development, external integration, business process automation, and other custom functionalities.

• Develop cutting-edge industry accelerators and contribute to the creation of thought leadership white papers.

• Write custom development specifications and oversee the delivery and testing of functionalities with Development Resources.

• Iterate on Salesforce solutions using an adaptive-agile methodology alongside the customer Product Owner.

• Create a training curriculum and conduct training sessions for the end users of the solution.

• Collaborate with the Guidehouse Project Manager to ensure project alignment with scope, budget, and timeline expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).

• A minimum of FOUR (4) years of professional experience.

• At least ONE (1) current Salesforce certification (Admin, App Builder, or Sales/Service/Community Clouds).

• US Citizenship is contractually required for this position.

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must have approved adjudication of clearance before onboarding with Guidehouse.

• Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.

• Hands-on experience with the declarative automation features of Salesforce, including Salesforce Lightning Flow Builder.

• Experience in building applications using the low-code features of Salesforce Lightning Experience.

• Familiarity with dynamic forms, advanced formulas, and validation rules.

• Experience in business process definition, process mapping, and reengineering.

• Proficient in writing Epics and user stories to capture Salesforce requirements.

• Experience with data migrations to and from Salesforce.

• Understanding of key levers for B2B, B2C, and hybrid business models.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with Agile or Hybrid-Agile methodologies.
