This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Administer and maintain Salesforce environments that support the CSC and Veterans Crisis Line.
• Manage users, profiles, roles, permission sets, queues, and access controls effectively.
• Process complex user access requests by conducting cross-object permission analysis and enforcing least-privilege principles.
• Execute Data Loader operations for bulk data imports, updates, deletions, and exports.
• Write and execute SOQL queries for data validation, audit requests, and operational reporting.
• Perform bulk user provisioning, deactivation, and updates to profiles and permission sets.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting for login issues, including SSO failures, IP restrictions, and session policy conflicts.
• Collaborate with Business Owners to clarify requirements, validate configurations, and secure approval for system modifications.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to sharing and record visibility across OWD settings, sharing rules, role hierarchy, and manual shares.
• Provide over-the-shoulder troubleshooting assistance to the System Integration team for cross-system issues.
• Resolve end-user requests submitted via ServiceNow, ensuring accurate ticket documentation and adherence to SLAs.
• Maintain and update the VCL Confluence page with procedures, known issues, and documentation of resolutions.
• Partner with Incident Response Teams to assist in the triage, containment, and resolution of high-priority production incidents.
• Manage sandbox environments, including refreshes, configuration validation, and change set deployments.
• Support Flow and automation troubleshooting by identifying logic errors, governor limit risks, and performance bottlenecks.
• Monitor system health, debug logs, and error alerts to proactively identify and resolve platform issues.
• Assist with audit and compliance reviews by generating reports on field history, login history exports, and permission snapshots.
• Collaborate with development and release teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles to validate configurations prior to deployment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, OR equivalent work experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of help desk or customer service experience in developing solutions within a complex global organization.
• Salesforce Admin Certification is mandatory.
• Experience in planning and executing regression testing.
• Familiarity with Agile project management and sprint planning is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Highly adept in interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication, presentations, and problem-solving.
• Experience in supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs and/or other federal organizations is a plus.
• Must be eligible to obtain public trust clearance.
• Reliable internet service is required for effective telecommuting.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Availability for rotating weekend and holiday shifts, covering 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, and 12:00 AM–8:00 AM is essential.
