This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the sales team by organizing the structure, defining responsibilities for each segment, and establishing quotas and KPIs for every role.
• Design and continually refine the sales process from start to finish, which includes qualification, follow-ups, demonstrations, negotiations, and finalizing deals.
• Lead the implementation of a CRM system: choose a vendor, finalize the contract, configure the sales pipeline, import existing leads and deals, and ensure complete team adoption through training.
• Define and manage the sales pipeline, which encompasses stages, exit criteria, forecasting procedures, weekly pipeline assessments, and executive-level dashboards that track conversion rates, sales cycles, and pipeline health.
• Create and maintain segmented sales playbooks.
• Manage pricing strategies, discount frameworks, and outreach materials, including tailored offers for different segments and collaboration with management on commercial initiatives.
• A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within sales teams (experience in payments, fintech infrastructure, or institutional financial services is preferred).
• A robust existing client network and an active portfolio of contacts within relevant industries.
• Proven ability to build and scale sales operations from the ground up, which includes team formation, CRM implementation, sales playbook development, and pipeline enhancement in early-stage or growing environments.
• Demonstrated track record of improving conversion rates and shortening sales cycle durations in previous positions.
• Hands-on experience with CRM selection, implementation, and deployment (familiarity with HubSpot, MondayCRM, or similar tools is required).
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, with regulatory knowledge of the EU, UK, and US being a significant advantage.
• A strong commercial acumen paired with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
