This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.
• Collaborate with end users and Veeam partners to identify and convert business goals into technical specifications.
• Develop content and present demonstrations to a diverse audience of decision-makers, both virtually and in person.
• Oversee the technical evaluation phase of the sales process as the primary technical advisor for Veeam solutions.
• Offer pre-sales support to clients as they assess Veeam software (e.g., POCs, Hands-on Labs, Bootcamps).
• Document and keep accurate records of customer and partner engagement activities on the CRM platform (Salesforce).
• Collaborate closely with Veeam’s value-added resellers on training, joint meetings, and relationship building.
• Assist in lead generation efforts through events, webinars, user groups, and more.
• Work in tandem with Veeam Product Development and Engineering to relay customer feedback.
• Actively engage and cooperate with cross-functional teams on various strategic projects that enhance efficiencies and provide long-term value to the company (e.g., TCO & ROI calculators, hands-on labs).
• Proven experience in a pre-sales role within the IT sector.
• Previous experience with Veeam solutions, either in usage or deployment.
• VMCE certification would be highly beneficial; all SEs can achieve VMCE and VMCA certifications once in the position.
• Extensive experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV) and related technologies (SANs, hyper-converged storage, networking).
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of key SaaS platforms like Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting to groups, both remotely and face-to-face.
• Willingness to travel across the Nordics.
• Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities may shift rapidly.
